A
Restaurant in the Forest...
The
Raffia Restaurant Zinkwazi
The Raffia Restaurant, named after the gigantic indigenous
Raffia Palm, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and
dinner. There is an extensive a la carte menu and
fresh fish and local Curry are our speciality.
People have been known to drive fifty kilometers for
these. An appetising selection of other local and international
specialities is on offer including: Peri Peri Prawns,
Bobotie, Strandloper Chowder. If you're the breakfast
type or just want to get going early on a full tummy
or are on a Sunday biker/Vintage car/MG Club/ run, then
call us beforehand (all breakfasts must be pre-booked).
We'll do what we can. At the Raffia Restaurant
you don't have to be an expert to enjoy our beautiful
birds. They lend their colourful names to dishes such
as the Spoonbill, Firefinch and Honeyguide.
Take
Aways and 'picnic baskets' are a popular alternative
for people on the move or engaged in enthralling outdoor
activities.
The
Isifonya Pub and Sundeck
The
setting of the elevated sundeck is breathtaking. Amongst
the tropical trees overlooking a wetland and the lagoon,
it's the perfect place for sundowners. Meals and refreshments
are also served here. We're sure you'll find the Isifonya
Pub a great spot to strike up new friendships over a
pint.
The
Boma
The
Boma in the jungle is for romantic dinners around an
open fire surrounded by the sounds of the tropical forest.
It is where the team comes together for a good time
after a day of activity. It is also the place where
everybody congregates to watch and support their favourite
sports team.
